Ingredients:
1/2 cup of Plain Flour ( Maida )
1/3 cup of Semolina ( Sooji / Rawa )
1/4 cup of Castor Sugar
1/4 cup of Clarified Butter
1 tbsp Whole Wheat Flour
Cardamom Powder
Method:
- Mix plain flour, semolina, castor Sugar, wheat flour, in a bowl.
- Add clarified butter little by little and start kneading.
- Add water in little quantities to make a nice dough.
- Make small balls from the dough, make a dent in the middle, take a pinch of cardamom, put it in and seal it well. Put it on a baking tray.
- Refrigerate for 10mins and take it out.
- Put it into oven and bake it at 120 - 140 degree Celsius.
- Bake it till golden Brown in color, which would take about 20 - 25mins.
- The Nan Khatai is ready to be served with tea or coffee.
